Amsterdam Autumn Hop Harvest Ale

When you pour Amsterdam Autumn Hop Harvest Ale the aroma is very strong to the point of sifting to your palate. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a beer with such a strong aroma. The aroma is very earthy with strong pine notes as well as citrus notes. The flavour is good but not a surprise. It’s bitter and very hoppy, except it tastes just a little watery. The finish is bitter and hoppy, but also sharp and very peppery.

If you’re wondering where the hops in this beer come from, they come from Collingwood, Ont. You can read about it here. Autumn Hop is a beer I definitely would recommend trying, especially if you enjoy very hopped beer.
