Thornbury Cider

I thought I’d mix it up a little here and review an alcoholic cider from the Georgian Bay area of Ontario (the village of Thornbury, to be exact).

This cider pours the way most ciders will with a very pale yellow body and very little head. There is a lot of carbonation. The aroma is tart and more of a sour apple scent. The taste is crab apple-y with a bitter finish. I’ve done a lot better with ciders, and that includes the big names like Strongbow and Blackthorn. This one isn’t worth drinking again.
