Lezajsk

This Polish beer is brewed by Zywiec, a Polish brewer I’m a fan of.

This beer is not good. It’s strong at 5.5% ABV and seeing as it was $1.90 for a 500 ml bottle on the shelf of the Summerhill LCBO, I tried to push aside my prejudice.

The body is amber-coloured with a thick white head, but has a bit of a sour aroma. This is the first sign the beer will be a disappointment. Though the beer isn’t as bad as you’d think. The flavour on the palate is a little sweet and malty, actually. However the finish does disappoint. It has a mix of bitterness and sourness that lingers too long and is a little too much to handle.
