On topic of Strange Beer Names…

The Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board has decided to ban the sale of Dirty Bastard beer because of profanity on the label. It wanted to keep the profanity away from children (who won’t be able to legally purchase or consume Dirty Bastard until 21). Apparently Fat Bastard wine and Raging Bitch beer are still available because they were approved before the current list of offensive words for brand names was created. I wonder if you can get that Pig’s Ass beer mentioned in Monday’s post in Alabama. Shockingly, more than a third of counties in Alabama prohibit the sale of alcohol.

Dirty Bastard is brewed by Founder’s Brewing Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan, which also brews such controversial beers (sarcasm) as Red’s Rye PA and Centennial IPA.
