10w30 Brown Ale is brewed by Neustadt Springs Brewery in tiny Neustadt, Ontario, located about two hours northwest of Toronto. Its label features an antique car on the front and in pubs carrying it, its tap is similar to a motor oil bottle. The brewer labels this beer as a “traditional dark premium English mild beer.”

The body is a deep chocolate colour with a tan head. The aroma and flavour are of roasted malt. The flavour has some hints of chocolate, caramel and nut in it. This is a very flavourful beer. It has sweetness, but not too much. The carbonation is a little subdued. As well, the finish has a roasted malt taste, but is not one that lingers for long. With this beer, the finish works well.
